Volleyball Recap: East Troy Takes a Loss

East Troy lost against Brodhead back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trojans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals.

Izzy Peroceschi paced East Troy's offense, picking up four kills. Peroceschi got some help from Hailey Wojciuch and her six assists. Wojciuch was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Brodhead's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Leah Rear, who had ten digs and three assists.

East Troy has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season. As for Brodhead, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

East Troy has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Jefferson on the 23rd. As for Brodhead, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Turner on the 23rd.
