Baseball Recap: Twin Valley Comes Up Short

Twin Valley lost against Leland & Gray back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats came up short against the Rebels, falling 15-8. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Seth Wrathall and Colton Corey stepped up to the plate in a big way. Wrathall went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double, while Corey got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs. Another player making a difference was Caden Sprague, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Twin Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for Leland & Gray, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

Coming up, Twin Valley will square off against West Rutland at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Leland & Gray does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
