Chaparral’s Visintine slugs way to MaxPreps/NFCA National High School Player of Week honor

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Chaparral (Parker, Colo.) High School's Adrienne Visintine slugged her way to MaxPreps/NFCA National High School Player of the Week honor for games played Aug. 21-27.

Keying the Wolverines to a pair of wins last week, Visintine slugged an eye-popping 3.000 by launching three home runs and roping a double in five official at bats. She drove in seven, scored nine times and reached base safely in all 11 plate appearances.

Following a 3-for-3 outing with a homer, double, three RBI and three runs scored in a win over Wheat Ridge, the left-handed slugger did not see a pitch to hit in a 9-5 loss to Ralston Valley. Visintine walked in all four of her plate appearances and scored three of her team's five runs. The senior outfielder responded in her final game of the week against Overland as she homered twice, recorded four RBI, scored two runs and walked once.
