Temecula Valley is 2-8 against Chaparral since October of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Temecula Valley Golden Bears will head out to challenge the Chaparral Pumas at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Chaparral found their leader in underclassman Dane Weber, who threw for 362 yards and six touchdowns, and also rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries. Caden "CB" Butler was Weber's top target, picking up 143 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Chaparral was moving up and down the field and finished the game with 487 total yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Apple Valley only gained 287.

Temecula Valley now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Chaparral, their record is now 2-0.

Temecula Valley took a serious blow against Chaparral in their previous meeting back in September of 2023, falling 42-7. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Temecula Valley was down 21-0.
