Volleyball Recap: Legacy's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Legacy had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Southeast Career Tech Roadrunners. This was payback for the Longhorns, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Legacy got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 28-30, 25-23, 25-19.

Logan Hanshew paced Legacy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Hanshew got some help from Isaiah Moore and his 20 assists. Moore was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Legacy's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Southeast Career Tech, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Legacy has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Bonanza on the 3rd. As for Southeast Career Tech, they will be taking part in a tournament against Sweetwater at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
