Basketball Game Preview: Hanover Bears vs. Manchester West Blue Knights

The Hanover Bears will square off against the Manchester West Blue Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Hanover comes in on six and Manchester West on nine.

Hanover is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Kingswood to the tune of 68-30 on Friday. Given the Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked 11th, while the Knights are ranked 67th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Manchester West beat Laconia 49-36 on Friday.

Hanover's win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points over those games. As for Manchester West, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.

Hanover strolled past Manchester West in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a score of 44-30. Does Hanover have another victory up their sleeve, or will Manchester West turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
