Volleyball Recap: Woodland Now 9-2 over Last 11 Games

The Woodland Wolfpack narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Southwest DeKalb Panthers 2-1.

Woodland had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-16, 15-7.

Woodland is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Southwest DeKalb, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.

Woodland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Columbia on the 11th. As for Southwest DeKalb, they will welcome Clarkston at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
