Baseball Recap: Kiefer Trojans vs. Oklahoma Union Cougars
Kiefer took a 12-run loss the last time they faced off against Oklahoma Union, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Trojans had just enough and edged out the Cougars 8-6. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 14-2 victory the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2016.
Carson Nance spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, Kiefer let Daxton Smith and Landon Easton run wild. Smith scored two runs while going 1-for-3, while Easton scored a run while going 3-for-4.
