Softball Recap: Bishop Fenwick Falls to Springboro in First Game of Season

Bishop Fenwick unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Springboro Panthers on Thursday, falling 19-5.

Myles Carolyn was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.

The victory made it two in a row for Springboro and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Fenwick will take on Monroe at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Springboro, they will square off against Hamilton at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
