Providence Hall had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Intermountain Christian Lions 3-0 on Thursday. The Patriots not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 26, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

While Providence Hall won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-11, 25-22.

Intermountain Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Providence Hall will be playing in front of their home fans against Ben Lomond at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Intermountain Christian, they will square off against Merit Preparatory Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
