Trinity Prep hasn't had much luck against The Master's Academy recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Saints will face off against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Trinity Prep is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Crooms Academy with a sharp 16-1 win. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The team relied heavily on Kaden Ruhl, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Armando Ros Diaz, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Trinity Prep kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but The Master's Academy ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Harmony 12-11. Considering the Eagles' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Noah Martinez made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and eight unearned) runs off four hits. Martinez was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
In other batting news, Bryce Knuppel was incredible, going 3-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He has become a key player for The Master's Academy: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 6-13 otherwise. Evan Slockett was another key player, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
Trinity Prep is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-11 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for The Master's Academy, their record is now 9-13.
Trinity Prep might still be hurting after the 7-1 defeat they got from The Master's Academy in their previous meeting back in February. Can the Saints avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
