Basketball Recap: Central's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Smithville, Central was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 47-34 victory over the Excelsior Springs Tigers. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Indians as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Excelsior Springs, they dropped their record down to 4-8 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 56-31 defeat against Park Hill South on the 22nd. As for Excelsior Springs, they will host Southeast at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
