Volleyball Recap: Richard Winn Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Anderson Christian last Thursday, Richard Winn Academy came back down to earth. The Eagles fell just short of the Curtis Baptist Crusaders by a score of 2-1 on Friday.

Curtis Baptist found their leader in sophomore Nata Kilroy, who had 11 digs and five aces.

Richard Winn Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Curtis Baptist, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

Richard Winn Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Curtis Baptist, they will take on Newberry Academy in a tournament on Saturday.
