Basketball Recap: Chaminade-Madonna Wins Going Away Against Coral Glades

It was a proper cat-fight when Chaminade-Madonna challenged Coral Glades on Wednesday. Everything went the Chaminade-Madonna Lions' way against the Coral Glades Jaguars as the Chaminade-Madonna Lions made off with a 51-29 win. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 22 points or more this season.

Chaminade-Madonna found their leader in freshman Nylah Lewis, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lewis has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasmine D Horne, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 23 rebounds.

Chaminade-Madonna is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season. As for Coral Glades, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Chaminade-Madonna has already played their next contest (against Hallandale), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Coral Glades didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 33-18 loss against Taravella on the 16th.
