Mount Airy Christian Academy had won two straight games and Ava McGlaughlin did her part to make it three on Thursday. Mount Airy Christian Academy breezed past the Heritage Academy Eagles to the tune of 53-11 thanks in part to McGlaughlin, who went 6-for-12 en route to 16 points and five boards. That's the most points she has posted since back in November of 2024.

The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Witter, who earned two points and six steals. Mount Airy Christian Academy is 7-3 when Witter posts five or more steals, but 4-6 otherwise.

Mount Airy Christian Academy pushed their record up to 11-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.7 points over those games. As for Heritage Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
