Foothill Tech won against Bishop Diego on Tuesday with 18 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Dragons put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 18-1 win. That looming 18-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Dragons yet this season.

Rainen Tolentino made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one hit in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Shane White, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Drayden Belitski, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and two RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Foothill Tech and bumps their season record up to 12-13. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.0 runs over those games. As for Bishop Diego, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Coming up, Foothill Tech will challenge Thousand Oaks at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Dragons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lancers have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. Bishop Diego does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
