Jefferson waltzed into their match on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with an 8-4 win over the Martinsburg Bulldogs. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win on Thursday.

Sam Hefner and Liam Healey did most of the damage at the plate: Hefner got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base, while Healey went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run. Those three stolen bases gave Healey a new career-high. Serf Guerra was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Jefferson's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-3-1. As for Martinsburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-14.

As of now, neither Jefferson nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
