Baseball Recap: Adams City Eagles vs. Thornton Trojans
Adams City came out on top against Thornton on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run first inning. The Eagles never let the Trojans get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Mauro Acosta made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 14 over six innings pitched.
