South Sioux City's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Bailee Durant, who scored 19 points along with two steals, and Brooklyn Heineman who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Heineman hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games.
South Sioux City's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-8. As for Bishop Heelan Catholic, they pushed their record up to 18-1 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
South Sioux City will take on Gross Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully South Sioux City focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Tuesday. As for Bishop Heelan Catholic, they will head out on the road to take on Lincoln at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Heelan Catholic knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six contests -- so hopefully Lincoln likes a good challenge.
