The Mason Bulldogs will face off against the Lansing Catholic Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mason is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

Mason barely beat St. Johns the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs' pitchers stepped up to hand the Redwings a 6-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Redwings recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Wyatt Ball made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, earning two runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Joey Schild, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Logan Davis was another key player, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Lansing Catholic beat Charlotte 4-1 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.
