With a playoff game on the line, NorthWood rose to the challenge on Saturday. They came out on top against the New Castle Trojans by a score of 3-1. The Panthers are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 12 straight.

NorthWood walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-27, 25-10, 25-17.

Anna Roeder was a one-man wrecking crew for NorthWood as she had 16 digs and seven aces. Roeder has been hot , having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she's played.

NorthWood was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in nine consecutive games.

Despite the loss, New Castle still got an impressive performance from Emily Grow, who had 22 digs.

NorthWood has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 30-6 record this season. As for New Castle, the defeat snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 25-10 record.
