Basketball Game Preview: Andrews Mustangs vs. Greenwood Rangers

Andrews hasn't had much luck against Greenwood recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Mustangs will welcome the Rangers at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Andrews strolled past Monahans with points to spare, taking the game 50-32. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Loboes: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Greenwood was fully in charge on Thursday, breezing past Fort Stockton 80-39.

Greenwood's win bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Andrews, their victory bumped their record up to 15-10.

Andrews and Greenwood were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in February of 2025, but Andrews came up empty-handed after a 52-51 loss. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
