If Charlestown was riding high fresh off their 72-41 takedown of Eastern last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Charlestown Pirates fell 60-52 to the Corydon Central Panthers on Saturday. The Pirates' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Charlestown still got an impressive performance from Anthony Fresh, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 17 points and seven rebounds. AJ Todd was another key player, putting up nine points and five assists.

Charlestown's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Corydon Central, their win bumped their record up to an identical 11-3.

When Charlestown and Corydon Central next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Charlestown will try to stop Seymour's six-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
