Stratford has gone a perfect 10-0 against James Island recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Stratford Knights are taking a road trip to face off against the James Island Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Stratford has given up an average of 14.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

While Stratford's win against Ashley Ridge wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Stratford had just enough and edged out Ashley Ridge 20-18. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Swamp Foxes recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, James Island came up short against May River on Friday, falling 14-2. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

James Island saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rachel Manchester, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3.

James Island now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Stratford, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2-1.

Stratford took their victory against James Island when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Stratford since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
