Soccer Recap: Oxford Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Oxford had taken Ansonia down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Wolverines fell 3-1 to the Chargers. Oxford were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Ansonia apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Oxford's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-2. As for Ansonia, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Looking ahead, Oxford will welcome Weston at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ansonia, they have already played their next match, a 5-0 victory against Woodland Regional on the 15th.
