Recap: Yellville-Summit vs. Rector
Rector took their contest against Yellville-Summit on Friday by a conclusive 41-20 score. Rector were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Rector started the game off right with 21 first-half points. Yellville-Summit countered with 12 points, leaving the score at 21-12 going into the half. The offense for Rector continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 20 points to put the game away. The victory bumped their record up to 2-3. The defeat dropped Yellville-Summit's record to 1-5.
Next week Rector take on Cross County at 7:00 PM. As for Yellville-Summit, they will face off against Clinton. Clinton have averaged 35 points over the course of their past five games, so Yellville-Summit might be in for a challenge.
