Morton is 9-1 against Dunlap since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Morton Potters will head out to take on the Dunlap Eagles at 6:30 p.m. Morton is coming into the match hot, having won their last nine games.

Last Tuesday, Morton humbled East Peoria with a 76-49 victory. The Potters have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Dunlap lost to Rock Island on the road by a 78-64 margin on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 235th, while the Rocks are ranked ninth).

Morton's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Dunlap, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-9.

Morton strolled past Dunlap when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 66-48. The rematch might be a little tougher for Morton since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
