The Pigeon Forge Tigers will venture away from home to  face off against the Cocke County Fighting Cocks  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Cocke County took a loss in their last  game and will be looking to turn the tables on Pigeon Forge, who comes in off a win.
Pigeon Forge was handed a heart-breaking three-point  defeat in their last  matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Johnson County  on Friday. The Tigers blew past the Longhorns 46-20. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.

 Ayden Hood had another great game (as  he tends to do), rushing for 162 yards and three  TDs, while also catching one  touchdown. Those  162  rushing yards gave  him a new career-high.
 Hood was just one part of a punishing run game: Pigeon Forge was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 230  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.
 Meanwhile, Cocke County was not able to break out of their rough patch  last Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight  loss  dating back to last season. They were dealt  a  50-0 defeat at the hands of Sevier County. While losing is never fun, the Fighting Cocks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 263rd, while the Smoky Bears are ranked 25th).
 Pigeon Forge's first  win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Cocke County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
 Pigeon Forge couldn't quite get it done against Cocke County in their previous matchup  back in September of 2018 as they fell  37-28. Can the Tigers avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
