Volleyball Recap: Xavier's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Xavier was the 2-0 winner over Grinnell when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Saints took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers on Saturday. The loss put an end to the Saints' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Xavier fell to 2-1. As for Grinnell, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Xavier didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Decorah-North Winneshiek on the 30th. As for Grinnell, they will welcome Center Point-Urbana at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
