Baseball Recap: Eleva-Strum Comes Up Short

Eleva-Strum was the 10-0 winner over Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cardinals took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lancers on Friday. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eleva-Strum saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Schiefelbein, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Eleva-Strum's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eleva-Strum will challenge Blair-Taylor at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran, they will host Whitehall at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lancers are facing the Norse at the right time seeing as the Norse are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
