Recap: Burges Mustangs vs. Jefferson Silver Foxes
The Burges Mustangs were not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They put the hurt on Jefferson with a sharp 28-6 victory. That's another feather in the cap for Burges, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Kayleb Hannah continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 136 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries. Hannah has been hot recently, having posted 100 or more rushing yards the last six times he's played.
When it comes to explaining why Jefferson lost, one person who can't be blamed is Miguel Rubio. Despite the final result, he rushed for 109 yards.
Burges' victory bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Jefferson, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Burges will square off against Rider at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Rider will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. Jefferson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
