Soccer Recap: South Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when South took on Derby on Tuesday. The Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. South haven't had much luck with Derby recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

South's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Derby, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1.

South didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Valley Center on the 1st. As for Derby, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Hutchinson on the 1st.
