Volleyball Recap: Polytechnic Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Polytechnic can now relate to. They fell just short of the Saugus Centurions by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2022.

Polytechnic took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 21-25, 21-25, 25-18, 15-9.

Polytechnic's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Saugus, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-7 record this season.

Polytechnic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Saugus, they will square off against St. Margaret's at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
