Volleyball Game Preview: Bishop Montgomery Knights vs. Paraclete Spirits

The Bishop Montgomery Knights will head out on the road to square off against the Paraclete Spirits at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Bishop Montgomery made up a huge gap compared to their last game against La Salle, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Knights put the hurt on the Lancers with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Meanwhile, Paraclete posted their closest victory since February 15th on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Cathedral, sneaking past 3-2. The Spirits haven't had any issues with the Phantoms recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Paraclete wouldn't go down easily and took Cathedral into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 20-25, 22-25, 15-11.

Paraclete's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-16-1. As for Bishop Montgomery, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Bishop Montgomery came up short against Paraclete in their previous meeting back in March, falling 3-1. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
