Triway won the last time they faced Northwest and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Titans came out on top against the Indians by a score of 11-7. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.

Kenzie Gatti was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Myah Lester, who went 2-for-4 with three runs and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Triway kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 12-2 when they post 11 or more hits.

Triway's record now sits at 12-5. As for Northwest, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Triway and Northwest could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Titans will take on Elyria Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (174 vs. 16). Meanwhile, Northwest (ranked 547th) will meet Tuslaw (ranked 209th) at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
