Football Recap: Amelia County Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Amelia County's offense. They were outmatched by the Buckingham Knights and fell 43-0. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Amelia County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Buckingham, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Amelia County is set to take on their familiar foe Lunenburg Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Buckingham will square off against rival Cumberland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
