Community Christian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with a 50-40 victory over the Sarasota Military Academy Eagles. The Crusaders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

When it comes to explaining why Sarasota Military Academy lost, don't look at Max Wilkins. Despite the final result, he posted 18 points. Izaac Williams was another key player, putting up six points.

The win got Community Christian back to even at 3-3. As for Sarasota Military Academy, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Community Christian will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against New Jerusalem Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on the 5th. As for Sarasota Military Academy, they have already played their next contest, a 62-56 loss against Universal Academy on the 2nd.
