Football Recap: Jonesboro Hurricane vs. DeSoto Central Jaguars
There's no place like home for Jonesboro, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They strolled past the DeSoto Central Jaguars with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 49-34. For the Hurricane, this counts as revenge for the 27-12 victory the Jaguars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.
Jonesboro got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tj Brown out in front who rushed for 126 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also picked up 43 receiving yards and one score.
