Basketball Recap: Eagle Grove Takes a Loss

Eagle Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 68-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Mills Bulldogs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-57 back in December of 2024.

Eagle Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Lake Mills, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.

Eagle Grove wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 62-51 win against Central Springs on the 31st. As for Lake Mills, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-40 victory against Garner-Hayfield/Ventura on the 31st.
