Baseball Recap: Make It Eight in a Row for Forest City

Forest City came tearing into Friday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 10-6 win over the West Hancock Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-0 on Friday.

Forest City's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for West Hancock, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.
