Volleyball Recap: Sacred Heart Gets the Win

Sacred Heart won the last time they faced Smithton and things went their way on Saturday too. The Gremlins came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gremlins.

Addison Figge paced Sacred Heart's offense, picking up 13 kills. Figge got some help from Ava Judd and her 15 assists. Judd was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Sacred Heart's win bumped their record up to 11-8-1. As for Smithton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.

Sacred Heart wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Stover on the 11th. As for Smithton, they will challenge Cole Camp at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
