Sacred Heart won the last time they faced Smithton and things went their way on Saturday too. The Gremlins came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Gremlins.

Addison Figge paced Sacred Heart's offense, picking up 13 kills. Figge got some help from Ava Judd and her 15 assists. Judd was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Sacred Heart's win bumped their record up to 11-8-1. As for Smithton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-14-1.

Sacred Heart wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Stover on the 11th. As for Smithton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Lincoln on the 11th.
