Softball Recap: Bentworth Has No Trouble Against California

Bentworth was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against California on Wednesday. The Bearcats never let the Trojans get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The game marked the Bearcats' most dominant victory of the season.

Sofia Gaussa was a standout: she went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Zoie McDonald was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

Bentworth was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .600. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The win got Bentworth back to even at 6-6. As for California, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
