Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Stokes). They blew past the Starmount Rams 72-47 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Wildcats have posted since February 9, 2024.

Despite the loss, Starmount saw an underclassman step up: freshman Ryley Rodriguez went 5 for 12 on his way to 12 points and five rebounds. Colton Allen was another key player, going 5 of 11 on his way to 12 points and five rebounds.

West Stokes' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Starmount, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

West Stokes will challenge T.W. Andrews at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in T.W. Andrews' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine contests.
