Volleyball Recap: Lyons' Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Lyons entered their tilt with Clyde-Savannah on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Golden Eagles by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17, 19-25, 25-18.

Keira Weber paced Lyons' offense, picking up 16 kills. Weber got some help from Kamryn Bonnell and her 32 assists. Addy Jones controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Lyons' victory bumped their record up to 8-3-2. As for Clyde-Savannah, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 6-2 record.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lyons is set to square off against their familiar foe North Rose-Wolcott at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Clyde-Savannah will take on rival Marion at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
