Softball Recap: Boardman Spartans vs. North Rangers
Boardman had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 10-7 victory over the North Rangers on Saturday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Boardman considering their one-run performance the game before.
Victoria Strines made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off seven hits. Strines was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with a home run, two runs, and a triple.
