Phoebus hadn't done well against Kecoughtan recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Phantoms blew past the Warriors 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

While Phoebus won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-13, 25-23.

Leading Phoebus to victory were Shyiah Sharpe and Canaan Claypoole. Sharpe hit 100% for ten kills and 21 assists and ten aces, while Claypoole had seven digs and two aces.

The win made it two in a row for Phoebus and bumps their season record up to 8-2. As for Kecoughtan, they moved to 5-4 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.
