            Volleyball Preview: St. Mary's Knights vs. Mesquite Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            St. Mary is 1-9 against Mesquite since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Wednesday. The Knights will venture away from home to  square off against the Wildcats  at 6:00  p.m. Both come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
On Monday, St. Mary's earned  a  3-1 win over Arcadia. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Knights.
Meanwhile, Mesquite made easy work of Marcos de Niza  on Monday and carried off  a  3-0 victory.
 Mesquite's got stronger as the match went on, holding Marcos de Niza to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21,  25-10.
 St. Mary's better focus on containing  Cami White and  Aislinn Barreno-Celedon as the pair were huge in Mesquite's win. White  had three  digs and two  aces, while  Barreno-Celedon  had 13  digs. Those  13  digs gave  Barreno-Celedon a new career-high.
 St. Mary's record is now 17-8. As for Mesquite, their record now sits at 24-5.
 St. Mary's might still be hurting after the  3-0 loss they got from Mesquite  in their previous meeting  two weeks ago. Can the Knights avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
