There's no place like home for Van Meter, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Chariton Chargers 49-16 on Friday. That 33 point margin sets a new team best for the Bulldogs this season.

Van Meter pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.5 points on average this season. As for Chariton, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
