Softball Recap: Miami Beach Comes Up Short

Braddock hit Miami Beach with a seven-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Hi-Tides lost 13-3 to the Bulldogs. The Hi-Tides haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Anna Mesarina made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. Angelina Murillo also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Miami Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Braddock, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Miami Beach will take on Mater Academy Charter at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Braddock, they will challenge Varela at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
